Removal of a visible tooth using forceps is simple extraction.

Sometimes tooth requires the removal of gum tissue or bone surrounding it for its extraction. This type is surgical extraction and requires for the site to be stitched subsequently. Wisdom teeth usually require surgical extraction for the removal.

Impaction occurs when a tooth has grown into the wrong position and is rendered useless, and so it gets blocked while pushing out through the gum. Often, wisdom teeth require extraction because they are impacted. However, while most dentists declare wisdom teeth purposeless, we at Hassaan Dental believe in saving wisdom teeth –whenever it is feasible – because virtually nothing is without purpose.
We never extract wisdom teeth without good reason, and always consider saving them first.
